Court-Recognized Parenting Course
Cook County Co-Parenting is an approved and court-recognized parenting course for separated or divorcing parents in Cook County. Many parents going through separation or divorce want to ensure they make positive, healthy choices for their children — and in many states, including Illinois, courts now require divorcing parents with minor children to complete a certified parenting course. Cook County Co-Parenting fulfills this legal requirement.
This comprehensive, easy-to-complete, and court-accepted course is developed and continually updated by licensed mental health professionals. Upon completion, parents immediately receive a certificate of completion that can be submitted to the court.
The course covers essential topics such as co-parenting strategies, child development stages, healthy communication, step-family challenges, legal considerations, and conflict resolution. Parents will also learn how to avoid high-conflict situations and create a more peaceful, supportive environment for their children.
The goal of Cook County Co-Parenting is to reduce conflict, improve communication, support parent-child relationships, and help families adjust positively throughout the divorce and co-parenting journey.
A better co-parenting future is just one click away.
